Doug Rausch: Band to play Millennium Music Conference on the 20th February.

Inspired by progressive rock giants like Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Spock’s Beard, and Jolly, Philadelphia quartet Rausch is among the area’s best genre bands. Led by pianist/vocalist Doug Rausch (who’s been captivating listeners since he was eight-years-old and has received praise from many stylistic siblings), the band also includes Joe Fine, Ryan Valotta, and Gary Wehrkamp. In 2010, an eponymous debut LP was released, and most recently, he completed a new song, “Good Day,” as well as his first music video (for the song). In celebration of its success thus far, Rausch will be appearing at the Millennium Music Conference at Gullifty's Underground next Friday, Feb. 20th, alongside seven other acts (Beyond Eden, Silvertung, Paralandra, BlackRue, Stolen Rhodes, Aubreylyn, and CeS).
