Psychedelic underground icons Amon Duul II will play in London next month – and you can be there courtesy of Prog.
Prog Magazine are giving away a pair of tickets to their show at the Village Underground on June 12.
The band were formed in the radical West German communes of the late 1960s and exploded with debut album Phallus Dei in 1969. They split in 1981 but later reformed and their most recent release was 2010’s Duulirium, made available on CD and vinyl last year.
They explain: “The industrial meanies with their destructive influence have been sued, destroyed and banished – and there is new hope in the commune. New tours, albums, projects coming soon.
“So who’s going to save the world? Is it you? Maybe, together with Amon Duul II.”
